Club Zone and Zone Gardens

By Matthew Ndarimani

Club Zone, located in Machipisa, the heart of Highfields, offers VIP-oriented services and a plush all-ages garden. The entertainment center attracts big whales and fun-seeking revelers from across the city by offering a range of live concerts.

What’s great about Club Zone?

  •  Clean as a Whistle. What makes Club Zone the right venue for a family day out is its cleanliness. The complex has a neat environment, with well-maintained toilets and litter-free spaces.
  • Safety & Security. You do not have to worry about your carjacking. The security team patrols the car park to ensure that your vehicle is safe.
  • Unique design and attractive spaces. The venue includes luxury sitting areas with atmospheric lighting and stylish furniture.
  • Whatever your poison. The bars are well-stocked with local and imported beers, and ciders too. If you are looking for top-shelf, the bartender can get you Glenfiddich, Hennessy, and more. And you can give your taste buds a trip to France with a sip of Moet. Club Zone also serves tequila and red wines. So, basically, something for everyone.
  • Top local artistes on stage. The party gets wilder on the weekends when the club features top local musicians. The stage has hosted the likes of Holy Ten, Freeman, Nisha TS, and Enzo Ishall.

How Club Zone can do better

  • A bit  dull on some nights. Mondays and Tuesdays are too laid back. Most joints in the country suffer from the same disorder, but Club Zone could rave things up a little bit with a jam session of some kind.
  • No child-friendly toilets. The ablutions are neat, top marks the team for that. However, management must consider creating a monitored kids-only restroom so that unsullied toddlers won’t have to brush shoulders with older, light-headed patrons.

Popular Attractions at Club Zone

Although you will find it in the often-castigated ghetto, Club Zone presents a good selection of facilities that rival some of the city’s finest establishments. The complex offers specialized sections to cater to different customers.

Zone Gardens

The famed garden is open to patrons of all ages, which means you can take your booze while your little ones play on the jumping castle. Zone Gardens includes horse riding, quad bikes, and a giant swimming pool for the kids.

There is also a large stage on which aspiring chanters can showcase their talent. The scenic garden is the perfect summertime outing.

VIP Balcony

Are you a big spender? The balcony is one of the inventive lounging spaces the country has to offer. The friendly waiting staff are always on their toes with the Vegas-inspired fantastic bottle service. You can, of course, pop the finest champagne (not just sparkling white wine) and top-shelf imported whiskeys.

Braai and Canteen

The team takes open flame grilling to another level. You can choose from a comprehensive menu with flavorful platters.

How Club Zone compares to other venues in the city

Club Zone certainly put a lot of work into creating the most unique night entertainment space. This is a short list of Club Zone’s most competitive alternatives.

  • Mashwede Village – a popular nightclub and open-air entertainment center, offering braai, photo shoots, and a children’s playing area.
  • Saints and Sinners – A prestige bar and restaurant, at the Joina City Mall.
  • Hollies Night Club and Private Lounge – Located on the edge of the CBD, this complex offers an exciting nightclub as well as VVIP X-rated entertainment.

Why You Should Check Club Zone out

Club Zone has revolutionized clubbing in the country by introducing a set of industry-first facilities that attract patrons of all ages. It is ideal for a family date or a late-night drink with friends. Although the club must do more to make restrooms more comfortable for kids, the complex has the best infrastructure in Highfields. And if you can catch your favorite Zim Dancehall artists live on stage.
